Junior Designer
Full-time, permanent
£14–16k, DOE

Are you passionate about print design, have an interest in magazines and know Creative Suite – particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign – inside and out? Do you want to work in a fun and deadline-driven environment?

D J Murphy Publishers is looking for a Junior Designer to work across its portfolio of market-leading magazines, associated websites and brand extensions. As part of our design team, you’ll be responsible for post-production work, as well as working on marketing and digital projects, one-off briefs, and supporting the rest of the team. You’ll also work on layouts for each title, producing exciting designs within an established style. You must be proactive, keen to learn and a real team player, and able to juggle multiple deadlines across different projects. Of course you’re very organised and a good communicator with amazing attention to detail.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your design experience and work within a successful publishing house on market-leading titles.

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our offices in Grayshott, Surrey.

Design Internship
(6-month fixed term full time contract from September 2017)

Are you passionate about print design and looking for your first design role?

D J Murphy Publishers is looking for a Design Intern to work across its portfolio of market-leading magazines, associated websites and brand extensions. As part of our dedicated design team, you’ll be involved in our children’s and equestrian titles, producing exciting layouts within an established style, working on post-production, and involved in marketing and digital projects, as well as one-off briefs.

You must be proactive, keen to learn, organised and a good communicator with amazing attention to detail. It’s essential that you have an interest in magazines and know Creative Suite – particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign – inside and out.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your design experience across a broad range of areas within magazine publishing and work within a successful publishing house on market-leading titles.

The position is based at our offices in Grayshott, Surrey.
